These new fangled direct injection motors gum up intakes (especially the top side of the valve) as bad as diesels. It may be an artifact of fully sealed systems with part and full load crankcase venting pulling way more vapor out of the bottom end.Drained my oil catch can…these Gen V LT motors with direct injection should have come with one from the factory IMHO

Come to think of it, diesels intakes are way more "ashy" these gas motors get gummed up with tar.
