Dead Air makes some good stuff. I really couldn't be happier with my Sandman-S. I might get a Sandman-K or the Sierra-5 next.

Well, not today but bought some ammo on Saturday at the gun show in Longview. Nice show, very busy on Saturday and a decent amount of customers on Sunday, though not nearly as many as had been there Saturday.

I got 100 rounds of Remington 125 grain (as I recall) semi-jacketed +P hollow point ammo. My son just ordered a S&W 642, no internal lock, chambered for 38 SPL and it handles +P. He bought 2 boxes of FMJ 38 SPL at Academy for around $31.00 each. I got 100 rds. of +P for $60. Not a bad price considering other ammo prices now. It is older ammo, probably from the 1990's, but looks good to go bang.

Ya had to buy two more bins today. I could have at least two more nice pistols with the $ I have tied up in extra mags, but I just hate spending valuable range time reloading mags. There’s something to be said for the convenience of preloading all the mags at home and taking a bag of mags vs a box or two of ammo.

I got a g35 gen 3 from another member awhile back that needs a little modernizing. Got new sights, 9mm conversion barrel, trigger and 9mm trigger housing. Sights came in 1 day from FW. Probably the only benefit of living somewhat close to a major city
