pinkys out! if you dont care, tell us how you got it and how much it was. Those things are so sweet.

Also did you sell the specialist to make this happen?
I found it on gunbroker and cost me 4333 shipped to an ffl. I still have the specialist but sold 2 rifles and 3 handguns to get the money for it.

It was a hard decision to make however I cleared up alot of space and got something I’ve wanted for so long. I’m not well off by any means so this was once in a life purchase for me.

Even at that price, it's an heirloom piece, one of those things that will make you smile every time you pick it up. Good on ya!

BTW - Did anyone notice that Beretta is importing their 50th Anniversary Commemorative Edition? It has a 5.25" bbl, highly polished, and sorta engraved with gold filling.

    It will sell for USD$11,000.00!

Thank you I’ve been smiles since I got it from the shop. I intend to shoot it often and enjoy it.

I did see that it just seems outlandish to me but that’s something I wouldn’t shoot.

When I bought my Nikon F5 it was way too expensive for my budget. But every time I picked it up it gave me a sense of satisfaction it's hard to describe. I know how you're feeling and I know it's good.

BTW - It helped that the F5 paid for itself after a short while. :)

On the 1911 forum someone bought a WWII USGI Colt in house custom from a top custom builder for 20k.

I've been waiting for at least 2 years for Beretta to tell me mine is finally in and ready for me. I've given up on them. Congrats, that's the one to get.
