Picked up my brass at the range. I think I'm up to a pair of .50 cans full of brass.

Tinkered with .308 sub loads. Worked up to 10.5gr still subsonic. Didn't get velocity on the last load though as the sun was going down. Some issues with consistent velocity. Seems to drop with each shot for some reason, maybe related to oxygen in the barrel or something. Seems strange though.

    Hope to test accuracy tomorrow.

Could be fouling. As the barrel fouls it slows the bullets down. This is based on the assumption that the powder is burnt in the first few inches. Just a guess though.

Try coating the bullets with Cisco.

You cutting them or pressing them out?

    Cutter.
really need to get a swage or, not keep crimped primer brass.
It's nice to know it's once fired though.

Once they are trimmed and de burred, I'll sort by headstamp and weight for benchrest loads.

I have a RCBS kit that goes into your press. It works pretty well. Much smoother finish than cutting them.

I had a Dillon stand alone unit and it worked well too. A little spendy though.
