I ran another batch through powder coat. Also setup my pro1000 for 9mm. Ran a few hundred though to size, deprime, and expand. Going to try to get a bullet sizing die this weekend to size all the PC bullets.

what size did they come out after powder coating? Mine have never needed sizing and shoot much better somewhere around 0.358 instead of 0.356 for cast lead.

    Gunz are icky.
Finally received the bullet mould been waiting on. 535 grn Postell style for the .45-70.
Now can cast up some bullets.

ETA: That little Ruger birdshead looks very sweet. Wonder why they didn't make it in .327mag?

More frustrating than anything. I mainly have myself to be mad at since I didn't true bc before running them in a match or 2. Reviews seem all over the place on what bc guys are running and some of it seems like it might be early and late release. Then again if you don't shoot past 700 at small targets you likely won't know.

For the first time in many years, I found one pound of AA2230! The price was a bit high, but damn, it was on the shelf.

Gonna load me some .223 Hornady 68 grain HPBT.

    Be well.

Finally ordered and received all the tools I needed to load up some 6.5 Grendel rounds. I've been sitting on a few hundred bullets and magnum rifle primers for months. Trimmed up 50 cases this evening and am in the process of descending into the man-cave to complete my work.

    Those take magnum primers? Surprising.

Made some more empty brass to load.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally work out, shouting "Holy shit....what a ride!"
