Home Depot has a 2" concave corner molding for really cheap. It would work better than caulking.

I did a similar project last year, and it works really good. I caulked mine prior to placing the molding in place, a strip on either side of the joint, then cleaned up the excess.

    Looking nice!

BTW, did you put down pillars under those cinder blocks?

no, it can easily be releveled with a floor jack and is already sitting on 4 4x6 runners designed to support the weight of the building without allowing it to sag. those are solid 4x8x16 blocks and are mainly there to keep the wood from contacting the ground

Cleaned up some brass in the tumbler, topped off my .45 brass can (about to change to a larger container), and dug out a couple of coffee cans for .223 and .308 brass.

Finished my 200 rounds of .300 Blackout and 100 rounds of .458 Socom. Waiting on good weather and a bit less wind to burn them up.

That .458 Socom is a moose to reload. It works my arm to death to crank that stuff out.

Got some nice offers from friends to blast piggies. I would love to do that but their freezers are full and I have no place to park the meat. Crap, maybe I'll buy a freezer.

No helmet! No bubblewrap?! CPS is going to take that kid away from you! You're doing great insulating your workshop. It'd be nice if you'd insulate him from all of the dangers lurking around every corner so he can grow up to be a 28 year old liberal grad student living in your converted reloading room. Not sure how America made it through two world wars without kids wearing helmets for anything faster than a walk.

At 10-15 mph on mud deep enough you sink to your ankles, Id be more worried about him drowning in the mud! Kids been riding everything that goes since he was old enough to climb in. only had one "serious" accident where he flipped his battery powered 4 wheeler right after he got it for xmas last year in the driveway. skinned his lip under his nose, busted his bottom lip on the inside almost all the way across, cried for about 30 seconds then jumped back on and immediatly pulled it onto 2 tires laughing the whole time. He's tough as nails! Oh yea, he had his bicyle helmet on at that time because he wanted it on!

I keep the keys to the gas powered 4wheeler, but when he wants to ride, all I gotta do is give them to him and je does the rest (choke, crank, warm it up, etc). when he is done, he rinses it off and parks it back in the garage!

Right after he turned 3, he got swarmed by yellow jackets. I jumped in and tossed him down into a ditch so he only got stung once in the hand. he got up, dusted himself off and all he said was "Ouch, daddy, will you kill them!" Never shed a tear.

He runs around the neighborhood (dead end street) with all the other kids playing in the ditches, creeks, and woods unsupervised too! By todays snowflake society, Im a horrible parent, but at 4, he can get up in the morning, get himself dressed, grab something for breakfast out of the fridge (usually a yogurt, banana, apple, etc), fix himself a drink, and be ready to go outside and play without needing our help! Not because we make him or are to lazy, but because he wants to be independant and do it himself!

You think the no helmet thing would get the snowflakes riled up, imagine what they would think about this!

awesome. I have a customer who wants to do the intro handgun class...for him and his two daughters 10 and 13. I hope they post pictures of it on their facebook pages. that'll get the school district in complete hysteria. incidentally, i took my 9 year old nephew to the NRAs range in Virginia. he had to pass the safety written test. then when we went to shoot, the ro was very closely observing (despite me being an NRA instructor). he did great! his hands were barely big enough to control the glock 19 so we did one shot at a time at first. made the ro more comfortable too. good times. glad liberalism hasn't taken over completely.

oh, and i told my wife to leave my brass out of my truck next time she takes it so I can get it cleaned and reloaded...that's what I did in the world of reloading today (to get back on topic).

well, still moving along on the workshop/reloading room! Got the trim done, lights up, and walls painted. I drug my wife and mom into helping me paint. They'll probably be spending as much time out here making teeshirts for the kids as I will reloading and working on gun stuff anyway!

Got some nice offers from friends to blast piggies I know some that would be glad to help. Oh, sized several hundred 40SW. BO for next week, then 308W. Seems like those fired cases grow on trees.

loaded another 200 or so rounds of 9mm and polished about 350 rounds worth of brass (ss pin wet tumble). I had a fire going to burn up some left over scrap OSB so all I needed was an old cardboard box to dry out the brass once I was finished rinsing it!

Got bored and loaded up another 100 rounds of .45 ACP 230g hardballs. I don't want Sterling to run out of ammo at the San Antonio shoot on Sunday.
