I keep going to our local Academy and I've got a box of WWB's for $21/525. I got some Federals for $14/325 and some Remington's for $21/525 today. I've also got a few boxes of Winchesters for $2.70/50

$9.99 for the 225rd boxes and $19.99 for the 550s at Wamart. Bought 9 boxes of 225 and 3 boxes of 550 over the last couple weeks.

Care to share which walmart and what time of day you're having this kind of luck at? I'm in Dallas often enough.

    Oh Gawd...

I ran across a 500 round brick the other day that I have had, evidently for a long time. The price tag on it was $1.49.

I'll pay you twice what you paid for it right now.

I won't pay a dime over $25 + tax for 500 rds. I'm not sure I'd even pay that much. $20 is fair.

Sent from the mind of a genius. Forrealz.

I found a number of 325 round tins at Bayou Bend today for $20. He also had some of the CCI segmented rounds for $7 a box.

They also had just about every other caliber out there also.

(The place is in north west of Cleveland in the woods.)

1 brick of 1000 rounds Win. M22 at local WM 0845 5-27-13 for $48.00. Same price as last October.

I haven't seen 22 on a shelf at normalish prices since this mess started.
That's good info, I was wondering what the normal price on M22 stuff was, thanks.

Things seem to be getting better. First in line at Academy at 7:40 on Tuesday. Federal match 325/$14, 100 round box of 9mm FMJ for $28. I even found some 30-30's (which I haven't seen for months) for about $15/box of 20. Through out this craze, I don't think I've ever paid over .05/round of .22's. It just takes some persistence.

Got another brick of 525 "golden bullets" for $21 at Academy this morning. They had 250 rounds of 9mm for $70. Didn't have the cash, so I settled for a $15/50 box of Remingtons.

I have a nice stock of .22 since I'd buy a brick about everytime I went into my local retailer. I saw it at Cheaper Than Dirt yesterday for $115 plus change for a box of 325. I almost laughed out loud.

You should have. And then you should have left a note on the box that said you're an idiot if you pay this much. Then again, maybe you should sit up there and sell your stash for $95 and cash in while robbing the crooks, I mean store, of their profits.

Well I happened upon some 22 today at academy. Just a hair over 4¢ a round. They had over 20 boxes, but they were only the 50 round count and they only let me have 1 box.

At least I have 50 more rounds than I did this morning.

For those in/around Fort Worth... Dick' Sporting Goods in the Alliance Town Center had Remington .22LR at $9.99/box of 50 (limit 3)!(that's $.19 each) -- Cabelas has a lot of Lapua .22LR at $6.00/box30 ($.02 ea) limit of 100 cartridges (so, in this case 3boxes) but I had a lot of mis-feeds with this ammo... It seemed to have some sort of oil or other substance coating it. YMMV. Also, CTD's retail store had some Aguila box/50 for about $6 yesterday.
