What's in the transcript doesn't matter. Trump could be holding a ham sandwich and the dems would see it as treason.

None of this is random. I think there are a couple things going on. This "whistle blower" released it to pressure Pelosi to give in to impeachment proceedings, which the dems hope will distract from their crappy candidates and fire up their base. This is also tied into the recent attempt to smear Kavanaugh, and if Trump gets to nominate another person for SCOTUS, the shadow of the impeachment might slow the process down until after the election.

It also tars Biden just when he needs this the least. He'll be questioned about the Ukraine endlessly, as he should be. My guess is that consensus is building around Warren as the dem nominee, and this news hits Biden as much as Trump. For the big money dems, it's two birds with one stone.

But impeachment is very risky for the dems. It's a bet that it motivates their base more than Trump's base. I'd bet on Trump to use the impeachment to his political advantage more than the dems can.

Stocks are up a bit, and bonds and gold are down. That suggests the market doesn't see much disruption. Interestingly, the Mexican peso is down sharply, and Mexican stocks are down, too. Read into that whatever you want.

I have said it many times before....the Liberal Left simply cannot get over their butt hurt at being caught with their pants down when Trump won the election. The fact that they were clueless and celebrities and politicians alike had the Hillary victory celebrations already underway left them with smelly egg on their faces and a sense of betrayal among themselves. Since then we have seen an unprecedented display of unethical, immoral, illegal and violent behavior from every segment of the Left such as this nation (or the world) has ever seen before. The last election was supposed to bring us one step closer to becoming another Germany or England and they cannot get over it....period. As a result, they will keep trashing the Constitution, the election process and everything associated with Trump because they refuse to admit that the problem might be them or their socialist goals.....it is beyond their comprehension that what they are seeking may not be in the best interests of this nation or the majority of the people...in fact, they could care less about the nation or the people in it. What they want is a Super Majority in all three segments of the national government so they can steer us into European socialism....anything less is unacceptable and they will not stop until they get it. The fact that Trump has been able to successfully appoint so many judges is one of the biggest thorns in their side so the impeachment angle is just one more way for them to throw a turd against the wall to see if it will stick even though the previous 100 turds have just slid back down on to their shoes.
