As a couple of others have already said--I'm not a fan of linking forums to FB. I understand if you do but it frustrating to me that sites want to get as much access to every piece of information I have. Sites like CNN, FOX and many others are starting to do it which is forcing me not to subscribe to those sites. I hope it doesn't become a standard here.

    Changes

    1) I'm working to improve the user experience and usability of the forum. I'm going to be making changes to the advertising system to help speed up the site for mobile and those of us not on broadband. This has the side effect of being more advantageous for the advertisers as well. The first step of this was taken a few months ago when we migrated to a faster server.

*nice job so far, seldom have trouble with site, don't personally do "mobile" so don't care, when I drive - I drive, When I work - I work, when Im' home I have a computer.

    2) I've rolled out a commission system for anyone whom wants to make some side-cash. More info can be found here: http://www.texasguntalk.com/forums/announcements-comments/34143-make-extra-cash-support-tgt.html

    no interest, have a job

    3) I purchased some additional software to integrate Facebook as well as mobile versions of the site for iOS (Apple) and Android. I will be rolling these out as soon as I can get the uploaded and setup.

    iTrader is now installed again.

thanks. i cant see the site right now. but were you able to salvage the database so we retain our ratings?

Unfortunately not. The fields were deleted when the old iTrader was uninstalled.

    Idea:

I've done business with one member here, back last August. I simply re-submitted feedback for that transaction we did back then.
Perhaps everyone else could have the courtesy to do the same for any old transactions (that they can recall ). That way the rating system is somewhat restored.
