I am planning out my senior year and came across this in the undergrad catalog. This is one of the classes I could choose from. I obviously will not be supporting this professor's tirade against capitalism by signing up for this one. I was actually getting to a point where not all of my professors are liberal goons. A fucking class devoted to socialism.

4353 Social Entrepreneurship and Economic Development (Cross-listed as ENT 4353)
Prerequisite(s): MGT 3305; not open to pre-business students.
Is capitalism good for the poor? This course examines the morality of capitalism, the role
of institutions in perpetuating or eliminating absolute poverty, and the contextual challenges of
entrepreneurship. Recognizing the socio-cultural, political, economic, and technological challenges
of doing business in the third world.
I was taught years ago, the more you know about your enemy the easier it is to find his weaknesses and defeat him. So, I would re-consider on that point.
Also, This is a learning institution, where you can be exposed to many many new things. Embrace it and experience all that it can. Take the road less traveled experience life and heck you may even learn a few things.
If you turn a blind eye/ear to someone who has an opposing opinion you become a sheep in the flock you follow.

I'd also have fun taking up counter-point and owning the professor every time he turned around.

I tried this in college years ago and took the first step as you did: Know your enemy.

If the professor is a liberal POS, play his game. He'll think he found a convert.

Then, when you write your papers, go way over the top. Use the most used cliche's used by the left (disadvantaged, under-represented, culturally repressed, economically-challenged, etc.).

Put a lot of effort into your work to convince the Prof that you are one of his most devoted students.

At the end of the course, when he awards you with an "A," tell him he is full of Shia, and, never believed any of his crap, and smile as he will not be able to change your grade.

I applaud your rejection of leftist indoctrination.

Invite your friends to join the "college insurgency" that makes your profs think they have the upper hand, then when you have your passing grades in hand, tell those same profs they did not change your world view, and that they should FO&D.

    Be well.

BUT, DO NOT do that until you no longer need any of the classes that professor "Teaches". Because He/She can ZING you later in another class.

Until you take the class, and/or find out how the professor presents the material and, presumably, his liberal point of view, how do you know what this class is all about? I agree that I don't like the idea of a class teaching American students about the wonderful benefits of socialism, but on the other hand, for the student who intends to seek employment in the international business community, understanding business in a socialist economic system would be of great benefit when working with companies in socialist Europe.
