No worries, i got a few boxes, just wanted to let folks know if there was some left on the shelf. They also got in 10 of the 100 rd wwb 9mm but it went fast.

Find me some .22LR and I'll get excited! I stopped by a gun shop in Florida last week and they actually had 5.56 in stock but no .22...

I have previously proposed a San Antonio ammo swap meet, but my post got deleted.

Meet at a neutral site, no sales, only trades.

525 rounds of .22 LR for 100 rounds of 7.62x39?

300 rounds of 9mm for 150 rounds of .45 Auto?

Don't know the baseline values ... barter would be a better way to get unused ammo in the hands of shooters.

The Wal-Mart over here on FM-78 and Crestway is tapped.

They have not had any .17HMR, .22LR, .380ACP, 9mm, .38SPL, .40S&W, .357, .357SIG, .45ACP, .223, .30-30, or .30-06 that I've seen, in weeks. Usually when stuff shows up here, it's snapped up when it comes in at 2:00-3:00 am.

The only thing I've seen in stock is a few boxes 7mm Magnum at $38 apiece and some .25-250 or something like that. They have like 12 boxes of the bulk 100-round 20 gauge ammo, and only a few boxes of 2.75" 12GA ammo (that's an improvement, because I haven't seen 12GA there in almost as long).

Wal-Mart on FM-78 and Crestway had 7mm, some .22-250, and a single box of .270 in stock as of earlier today, along with about 20-30 boxes of this:

Never seen it before, but I picked up the limit of three. I can always use some home-defense grade buck, but it was only about $4.80 per box of five shells. It's 2.75" using Winchester high-brass, which actually looks like it might be some really old stock since some of it is actually rusted/tarnished. Anybody know anything else about it?

The Walmart at i10 and DeZavala had a few 100 rd boxes of .22, one box of .17 and about 2 full cases of 9mm ammo about 2 hours ago. They have a 100 round limit on what they'll sell you though.

Texas Guns has lots of ammo in stock. Looks like they haven't sold ammo in the last year. LOL as long as you're willing to pay outrageous prices.

I thought ammo prices at gun shops were outrageous before this ammo scarcity. I saw some FGMM 308 and was afraid to ask what the price was.

Today. 20:07 hours. Ammo situation worse than ever. Mark my words, the system has been corrupted and the only people with access to ammo have bribed every employee of every shop that has access to ammo.

If not, why does 9mm sell at 60 cents per round, .223 at $1.50 per round, and .22 Long Rifle at 12 cents per round?
