i agree!Mine are very mild. With a brake.
Cant imagine shooting one without. I've heard of broken collar bones.

That's a great idea! Never thought of it before. If I have someone apprehensive about recoil, before we even goto the range I have them hold some object like a gun and smack the end of it. I tell them that's what recoil feels like. I'll remind them that the bang might surprise them, but the felt recoil really isn't that big of a deal.
A LOT OF PEOPLE ASSOCIATE LOUD NOISE WITH RECOIL THAT IF IT'S REALLY LOUD IT PROBABLY KICKS PRETTY HARD!That's a great idea! Never thought of it before.

Ditto. I have helped some people control their flinching from loud firearm reports by having them shoot a stock XP-100. Very few pistols are that loud yet the recoil is nearly nothing. It doesn't always work but if I can catch a shooter early enough, that pistol can teach them to divorce, in their minds, the recoil from the muzzle blast.Yep, Have seen this very thing 1st hand!
Wife still thinks my heavy 357M kicks "worse" than her ultralight 38.
I'm here to tell ya that it don't kick WORSE but that 357 is loud!
