Rant Thread: Small Issues that Piss You Off!

New neighbors.
They have a 2 car attached garage, a 3 car detached garage.
3 cars and they park in the street in a cul-de-sac.

along them lines^^^.......neighbors that feel the need to poke their nose in everyone else's business when they have PLENTY to address at their own place. I got the classic "little old lady" in my neighborhood

Most folks see me walking Max cat and steer clear I was at Chili's on Sunday with Ian and Paul. The guy that bought our food out looked at me and said" I know you from somewhere" and I didn't have a clue who he is. He kept looking at me trying to think of where he's seen me and then said "You're the lady that walks that big 'ol cat in my neighborhood"

I saw this today. Moving at warp speed, then slam on the brakes right on top of a bridge. LOL What a moron. Lucky for her the bridge had zero ice or she would have went sliding.

I thought it was either/or. I'm under the impression that you're supposed to move over so that there's an empty lane between you and the emergency vehicle OR, if you must stay in the lane next to the emergency vehicle, reduce speed to 20 mph below the limit.

Do I have that wrong?

I think that is right Ben, if you cant move over then you need to slow down...§ 545.157. PASSING AUTHORIZED EMERGENCY VEHICLE. (a) On
approaching a stationary authorized emergency vehicle using visual
signals that meet the requirements of Sections 547.305 and 547.702,
an operator, unless otherwise directed by a police officer, shall:
(1) vacate the lane closest to the emergency vehicle
when driving on a highway with two or more lanes traveling in the
direction of the emergency vehicle; or
(2) slow to a speed not to exceed:
(A) 20 miles per hour less than the posted speed
limit when the posted speed limit is 25 miles per hour or more; or
(B) five miles per hour when the posted speed
limit is less than 25 miles per hour.
(b) A violation of this section is:
(1) a misdemeanor punishable under Section 542.401;
(2) a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of $500 if the
violation results in property damage; or
(3) a Class B misdemeanor if the violation results in
bodily injury.
(c) If conduct constituting an offense under this section
also constitutes an offense under another section of this code or
the Penal Code, the actor may be prosecuted under either section or
under both sections.

When you're in the 10-12 ft tall red and white truck with $10,000 worth of LED lights and ear raping sirens and people stop in the middle of the road in front of you like you don't exist when you're doing 60-70.

Well that used to piss me off.


Or how the rear drivers side door liked to swing open when your standing up getting your gear sorted out doing 60-70 mph

Or when the cops pull you over doing 80 racing said trucks at 3am coming back from a call.(I wasn't a driver)
