Protestor gunned down in Austin - Daniel Perry trial

Tough to figure this one. The dead guy was a libertarian, military veteran, Jo Jorgensen supporter, LTC holder, married (?) to quad amputee in a wheelchair that was with him. Who knows, he might have been a member here.
Shooter, we know nothing about. We need to give this one more time to play out before I can figure out who I think the bad guy was. Can't trust any witness reports as they were all "peaceful protestors". I really didn't see anything that looked violent in the little video out there.
Don't jump all over me because I am not certain the protestor was the bad guy.

I see it as he fired warning shots in the air, and the driver took the warning shots as play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Lets push our quad-amputee wife into the middle of a "protest", toting our (probably an IO) AK then blather on camera that you "can't use them against the police because I'd die" then go be part of a mob surrounding a car, brandishing your rifle, and, from the sounds of the videos released, pop off rounds (into the air, or at the car, who knows)

I would guess that either 5.5NATO or 7.62x39mm would be adequate for shooting TERRORISTS & other "enemies domestic" that all of us GIs took an oath to protect THE US CONSTITUTION against.

IF a person shops carefully, there are any number of CHEAP sorts of ammo in either of those calibers available on the Worldwideweird. = NO point in wasting money needlessly on shooting VERMIN.

I certainly hate to see a young man lose his life over something like this. But from all accounts he was pretty arrogant and ignorant and most definitely underestimated his perceived opponent.
