Okay, so that is not as bad as I pictured in my mind.
Shootin' Shack, that's good.
I wanta see pics of where the guy lived. They keep talking about a tin shack, but never any photos of it.
There was pics. It was indeed a tin shack. Do a Google image search for "Odessa shooter home".
Awarded one week in the hole.
My money is on a prohibited person doing that. Manufacturing and selling firearms without a license. If the gun was built from an 80% lower there is no SN. Sounds like someone may have been making a few and selling them w/o a license. That's a No-No.
How would a weapon created from an 80% lower be tracked back to the builder?
And I'm not talking about the obvious ways such as BOS, etc....
If you finish a 80% lower and latter on decide to sell it there is no problem. The only problem is if you are making them with the intent to sell them.
Maybe I should have asked if the builder could be found just from looking at the gun?
Well, at least YOU'D GET TO LOOK AT THE GUN....Maybe I should have asked if the builder could be found just from looking at the gun?
And no, he didn't etch his name or anything into it...
Law-enforcement officials suspect the man was buying various gun parts to build his own guns and then reselling them.
