Very good choice. I have an A17 with the heavy sport barrel and an A.22lr with heavy barrel. Both will shoot well under MOA at 100 yards. And the both have rotary mags like the 10/22. Butler Creek makes a 25 rnd mag for the A model that is flawless. The Savage A models also come with the Acutrigger standard. Both are a joy to shoot.Interested in getting a 17HMR. What’s the best one for the money? I was leaning towards the Savage A17
Nice stippling job.
Nice stippling job.
My 9 y.o. boy runs the full size M&P like a champ. This is his first outing with it last year. Steel challenge will be in his future.
I could've sworn i posted this...
Winchester 1906. Still needs a few parts, but i figured out the issues, since the bolt locks using a protrusion on the side of the firing pin, all it took was replacing it, though i went the extra mile and just replaced the entire bolt assembly. The carrier was just missing a small leaf spring and screw.
This rifle made around 1924 and has been in the family since. Its marked .22 short, long, or long rifle, but it does not like bulk .22lr. View attachment 215522
