I once wrote a business profile for a magazine. The business was a combination strip club, porn store, and truck stop.

They didn't just have truck parking. They had indoor parking for 18 wheelers.

It's in Texas so I'm pretty sure some of you probably know it.

That's a word for it. Certainly the most unique place I've ever stopped - and no, we weren't brave enough to go through the double doors to the titty bar. The convenience store part was scary enough, with all the dead critter bits in the display cases by the register.

You have had some exceptionally strange & weird experiences, and I say that coming from NYC and Long Island where seeing the truly far out and extremely weird was/is a way of life. Must have been fun or at least quite interesting!!

I went through those doors once. Shopped at the liquor store a few times. Willie Nelson bought it and now it's a boring truck stop.

I think it went out of business before Willie bought it. He didn't have it long, though. Last time I went by it was a Petro station.
