I don't know why half of American women from 30s to 60s think they need a service animal, and are more than capable of seeing more than well enough to pass any vision exam and most certainly are not physically disabled.
They instead behave as if what they really need is a pacifier and a bib.

Just because an animal performs a service, doesn't mean it gets ADA to health codes.

It must be:

-A DOG

-Trained to perform a SPECIFIC TASK DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE DISABILITY

To folks tripping out over dogs in restaurants - you better stay out of Germany as they allow dogs in restaurants and not just service dogs either!

Besides, if y'all want to get angry about something, get angry over fat activists demanding free second seats (free to them but costing everyone else flying) on airlines to accommodate their "disability".

We raised rabbits when I was a kid. Daf wouldn't let mom go near the cage because if she named one, it was safe from the pot.

During the depression my grandmother raised rabbits for food. My mom and her brother refused to eat them so my grandmother would go to the butcher and get chicken feet to leave on the counter to fool them into thinking they were getting chicken.

Grandmother was raised on a farm.

That was part of their defined role. The court didn't "intervene", it granted a stay on a lower court ruling that was brought before the Supreme Court using established protocols.

The Supreme Court has never, ever intervened in a lower court's ruling without a case being brought. Nor should it ever, because it would establish a precedent that a liberal-leaning court could use to destroy civil liberties.
