This was a familiar site in the Houston area about 50 years ago.Just a snapshot of a thing I saw recently but that I had not seen for at least 20 years before that. It used to be a fairly frequent site over NYC and surrounding areas decades ago. View attachment 480936
I have pretty much migrated over to mirrorless. Nikon Z6II, Z8, and Z9, but still have a D850 that sees regular use. In fact, it is being used today. What are you guys using for equipment? I havent taken my DSLR out in years, mostly because I don’t usually feel like carrying it around. I sometimes debate on starting to use it again or maybe upgrading to something new.
I was a fortunate lad and got a ride back in '68, just before the World's fair. Left the International Airport, circled the Tower of the America's, and back to the airport. From what I remember, it was loud! This was a familiar site in the Houston area about 50 years ago.
Probably flew all over the USA, I guess. This was a familiar site in the Houston area about 50 years ago.
It had a hanger at Spring, TX for several years.Probably flew all over the USA, I guess.
When I was last into photography, I was using a Nikon FM2 film camera. I had a few Tamron Adaptall 2 lenses for it along with a micro-Nikkor macro lens. That was ages ago. I could not afford a digital once they became popular, both SLR film cameras & accessories and film became harder to find as did places that developed film also became rarer; although, there apparently has been a resurgence of both to some degree. What are you guys using for equipment? I also use a Nikon D850 with a 200-500 f5.6 Nikon lens. My backup is a D500. That's been my attitude toward every one of them I've ever used. But I haven't looked through a new one in quite a while. So...HATING the LCD viewfinder.
...have LCD viewfinders gotten good or are you just tolerating them?I have pretty much migrated over to mirrorless.
