I'll never own another PSA, but I may end up with a H&R 723 late. It's really calling to me to do an old Delta clone. Thankfully H&R is formally Nodak Spud and from what I have heard they are doing their own thing away from PSA. View attachment 458166
I had the same itch a couple of years ago and built one ( on a psa) m16 clone lower. The hardest part was finding an A2 upper and not that bolt on picatinny shit. No one was making them at the time and wound up getting one on gunbroker from a Kentucky police dept auction. I think it's from 1987 if I remember right. Way over paid too.

That delta clone does look pretty nice with the short handgaurd and stock

I bought one of the M16 lowers from PSA/H&R when they first came out. My plan was exactly what you have there. Then this happened to it. I may have to try again.

Also added a BAD lever and bipod and single point sling attachment point (but this would be a beast to lug around)

I have several ARs from PSA which have functioned without a problem. I have a few "Angry Joe AR-14" lowers which I need to complete.

I don't have any PSA products other than my "Right to Bear" membership but I am impressed with PSA. They are filling a lot of needs. When we had an ammo shortage, they started making ammo. They are making reasonably priced guns for the masses and I think that their mission statement, says it all. Right now if I needed (or wanted) more ammo or another firearm, I would buy it from PSA based on principle alone.

Bought lots of ammo from them and also bought one of their ARs secondhand off a dude. Shoots like a champ. No complaints.

PSA refuses to sell to the military or police for ammo. I have switched to exclusively buying their ammo.

Is the 55 grain accurate? you tell me. This was last weekend.
