Speaking from our Texas standpoint, I do hope that if passed that our governor and legislatures will go to work and pass a bill to make Texas immune to this farce of this bill.

I believe several states have plans in the works to lessen the blow to their states. Since our legislature is off, we are a step behind.

We already have universal health care... If you goto a hospital you will not be turned away, and the vast majority of doctors are loyal to their oath and will do the best they can to heal you regardless if you pay them with beans or cash. This bill is obviously about control.

I was watching one of those shows about kids with dwarfism with the girlfriend not too long ago. One of the families on the show was in the UK and they were talking about how they were hoping their daughter could get diagnosed with this specific type of dwarfism so that they could be approved to get a scan done to see if she had a life threatening deformity. They didn't say they couldn't afford it... They said they didn't have approval for it until she was diagnosed with something else. I pointed that out to the GF and asked if that's the system she'd like. She just quietly shook her head. She used to be an Obama supporter, but is slowly starting to see the light atriot:

We already have universal health care... If you goto a hospital you will not be turned away, and the vast majority of doctors are loyal to their oath and will do the best they can to heal you regardless if you pay them with beans or cash.

I am always amazed at the number of people that think that with out insurance the hospital will turn you away. Heck I had a friend of mine that believed that until I took her to the emergency room one day when she was sick. Whole thing cost $400 including the tests and the prescriptions. They did not turn her away and they put her on a payment plan she could afford.

My doctor recently went to a new policy of not accepting any insurance. He takes cash only. 65$ for the first visit then 35$ for visits after that. He will provide you with instructions on how to file a claim with your insurance company but he does not deal with it.

So, now to the root cause of the high cost of medical. Did you know that unless a school is AMA approved the graduates can not get a licence to practice in the US. The AMA sets restrictions on the courses, classes, number of students, and the number that can graduate in a given year. All of this works to artificially restrict the number of doctors in the US. This restriction chokes the supply while the demand is ever growing.

I will be optimistic here because we can use some optimism.

Every day we see more states saying "NO" to the gooberment.
Every day we see an article where another democrat is backing away from Obama.
We also see others being turned against the American public for back room deals to protect their sorry ass's and bury the American tax payer.

But the bottom line is middle class working American is watching!

We are talking and have started to speak out openly and publicly!

Mr. & Mrs. Middle Class American keep this country running and we are also the ones that let these socialist in and have allowed all this to transpire.

The positive is we are now starting to take responsibility for our mistakes and are beginning to rally to correct them.

I have faith in you and me and my fellow middle class Americans.

We can resolve these problems and take back our country.

As long as each and everyone of us are willing to do what ever is necessary and not throw our hands up and cry "I can't do this" we will win our country back.

Folks this is our battle.

The rich can afford it - the entitlement groups want it and we out number them three to one.

Remember what our parents, grand parents and forefathers fought and died for.

Have seen posted on another board a guy from Texas said that Texas is working on excluding us from this abomination. I believe that two states have already passed something, supposedly several are working on it.
