The meds I'm on to replace the thyroid are very sensitive and react to a bunch of different foods.Oh wow. I'm going to ask a question that sounds dumb but I really don't know the answer.
Why did the thyroid removal limit the foods you can have?
Don't ask me to think, I've reached the limit for today....Think again!
Surely you have at least one more thought left in you!Don't ask me to think, I've reached the limit for today....

Mine was 5.3. A whole year in the normal range. It's been under 6 for a couple years.I take meds, but at one point my A1c was at 11.
Above 5.9 is diabetic.
I changed my diet at that point, ~6 years ago, and dropped it to 7.0, which is acceptable.
And I'm staying there currently.
Congratulations to toddnjoyce!
I just visited with an old friend.
His divorce was final Monday. After 20 years.
Ironic.
Since having cancer and having my throid removed I can't have a lot of different foods. I miss cornbread....
