Since having cancer and having my throid removed I can't have a lot of different foods. I miss cornbread....

I take meds, but at one point my A1c was at 11.
Above 5.9 is diabetic.

I changed my diet at that point, ~6 years ago, and dropped it to 7.0, which is acceptable.
And I'm staying there currently.
