I take meds, but at one point my A1c was at 11.
    Above 5.9 is diabetic.

I changed my diet at that point, ~6 years ago, and dropped it to 7.0, which is acceptable.
    And I'm staying there currently.
Mine was 5.3. A whole year in the normal range. It's been under 6 for a couple years.

Starting off meds. Metformin gone. Jardience is next in 3 months then start lowering the victoza. As long as I stay under 7 o get off all the meds....we shall see.

    Congratulations to toddnjoyce!
I just visited with an old friend.
His divorce was final Monday. After 20 years.

    Ironic.

My father divorced my mother after 43 years of marriage for no real reason. I try not to judge others but I believe the good Lord is going to judge me on whether I kept a promise I made in his name.

Ain’t always easy and in the end I think I’m a better man for it.

I’ve had both as well and my only off-limits is grapefruit and grapefruit derived since it interferes with Synthroid/Levo.

Must’ve had a different version of cancer. Fûck cancer.
    Hey TJ,

    Could not agree more....

Lost both Brides to cancer. (first one, just shy of 35yrs ago)

41yr old son is currently cancer free (Stage IV Lymphoma)....They gutted him like a fish last March, a month before Bride #2 passed...

I think that cancer is something invented by the AMA. And they do put cancer causing agents in our food & drink...

God Bless all who are battling this horrible affliction.
