Good morning, folks. I'm a few hours from driving to Tyler to get shots in my knees...always a fun time. This time rather than steroids they're going to insert some kind of gel that's supposed to do the job the former cartilage did, at least to some extent.

Praying all goes well for you and the gel will do what it is intended to do!

Well, the injections happened. The left one hurt like an absolute bitch - I couldn't feel the needle go into the joint, but the gel...god it hurt. Right knee I felt the needle but nothing else. Right now I'm sore and tired from the drive home - it's an hour and a half each way.

Have they got you on a physical therapy schedule? I sure hope this works out for you!

There's no recovery - my knees are shot. These injections are to stave off knee replacement surgery as long as possible. The steroid and anti-inflammatory injections I was getting before stopped working.

When my grandson wakes up, we'll be taking him to Savannah for a few days. A diversion from his father's accident will be good. He didn't show any interest in Amateur Radio but in interested in some pistol training.
