The problem is the manager is incompetent and fears being upstaged by subordinates.

The primary reason I was willing to stay unemployed with two small children for a year and a half to get out of sales back about 18 years ago. I had one manager after another like that. I finally had enough and refused to apply for or accept an interview for another sales job while I changed careers.

Mornin' everybody! Made it back from the gym still--ostensibly--in one piece. Switched to ~05:00 workouts last March and, while the internal wake-up clock is used to it, the ol' frontal lobe isn't. Gettin' in the SUV by around 04:45 in order to go beat-up the old body just doesn't seem...natural.
