I had to lift my oldest greyhound into the car this morning as he couldn't stand or walk. After 8 hours of driving to Savannah I took him to an emergency clinic where he had to be put down from cancer. One day away from 12 years old.

Nitro Hot Wired (Ben) had a good racing career before I adopted him. I made sure he had a good retirement.
It seems most of the retired greyhounds seem to go at about this age.
