I ate a whole Marie Calanders Meat loaf TV dinner.

And the best part....

I could actually taste it sorta. A wierd salty meat flavor and the sharp cheddar I mixed into the potatoes and corn. I always mix the potatoes and sweet corn.

I've been fiddling with eggs and pasta but this is the first time I had meat except for capt crunch size meat balls.

My toung is so sore and stiff from scar tissue it wasn't easy but I ate real food and tasted it.

That's a good day Sgt Savage. Lol

A big deal to me. Anyways.

Morning northern Texans. Decided to take a 4 day weekend since my birthday was yesterday. Headed to the range again today. That’ll make 3 times in the last 7 days. Gonna need more ammo lol.

And thanks guys. I’m a whopping 38 years old. The youngest person in this senior community that I live in and work for. Even my wife is 4 years older than me. Sometimes I feel older. Sometimes younger. Sometimes I look around and think to myself I need to find some younger people to hang out with lol. However one of my buds here is a 62 year old retired career Marine and DoD and looks and acts half his age as well as works his ass off around here. Another is 71 and also works his ass of doing mechanical and welding. I’ve learned two major things (amongst many other things) from these guys, age is just a number and if you stop moving you start dying.

Happy birthday. Hanging out with your own age is fun and entertaining. Hanging around with the old guys is educational and inspirational. Enjoy your youth, you only get one of those.

The best I get is a sightseeing helicopter that looks like it's going to fall out of the sky. We do get some WWII planes flying out of the San Marcos airport occasionally. When I hear those radial engines roaring overhead in the morning, it's like Viagra, it gets me up. - not saying I need that.

I used to live near Nellis Air Force Base in the early 70's. When I heard the Thunderbirds start taking off, I had to see the time, even though I knew it was 9 am.
