Some idiot strung a fishing line across the bike path at our community lake. Line hit my neck while riding my bike causing a crash due to my reaction. Fractured the radius and ulnar with the radius in multiple places. They screwed in a metal plate on Tuesday which made my Wednesday morning chemical stress test fun. 2023 isn't a fun year. ER, stays or surgeries at Medical City Frisco, Plano, Dallas and Denton. Still need a graft surgery soon on my abdominal aorta.

Have family in Matador, waiting on word. My brother and family were supposed to be there visiting. Haven't been able to raise anyone yet.

But my large one is at my SIL house.

I'm using a 2200/2500 watt at my house.

It's keeping the fridge on, coffee, etc.

Hopefully it will run my portable AC unit tonight.

I start new work soon. Same line, co., & pay but with some extra bennies in a super secret squirrel location . . .

1 week down, @ 200 to go . . . to retire.

The bennies are nice no doubt but escaping the previous shit show work drama is at least 10x better! A few former co workers came by today which won't be unheard of and I was pleased to be able to share a small portion of my new gig with them.
