Actually was 97.9, but for the analog tuner dials back in the day 98 was close enough.

Put her down today. She has been a little weak in her hind legs. In the last 24 hours she couldn't stand up. I had her scheduled for custom slaughter next week but she didn't make it.

So, I did the best I could at butchering her on the ground in the rain after a quick kill. She was our best momma cow, let all the calves nurse on her. My kids were pretty sad.

I may have to buy a good grinder. All I have is the Kitchenaide attachment. I don't think any processor is going to take the meat since they didn't see her live.
