Democrat Judge Emily Tobolowsky allows State Fair Gun Ban to Stand.
She was a real-estate and family law atty, solo practice. She handled divorces and probate, simple stuff. No experience in constitutional or statutory law. The appellate court in Dallas is not much better, all "D"s , all rode the short bus to school. Ken will need to ride this to Austin for the Supremes to give it a look, next year.

Judge Allows State Fair Gun Ban to Stand.

No surprise a Democratic Dallas Judge, ignored the law and substituted her own.

99% of the problem is Cotton wrote/worded most of these laws and did a poor job.

    (e) It is an exception to the application of this section that the property on which the license holder carries a handgun is owned or leased by a governmental entity and is not a premises or other place on which the license holder is prohibited from carrying the handgun under Section 46.03 or 46.035

They won't miss the attendance there are far more non carriers than those who do along with those it doesn't bother. Win for the Fair and loss for others.
Rodeos, Truck shows, and all other community activities are coming next regardless of land ownership or who runs the show.

I’m still hoping for a win either thru court precedent or legislative action that will stop that kind of bullshit. Today’s setback wasn’t exactly a surprise.

Sad to hear the ruling. We go almost every year, but will no longer be going unless they reverse the ruling.
I don't feel comfortable going there unable to defend myself and my family.

Ken appealed today, to the brand-new 15th Court of Appeals, this gets him out of the Dallas Circus.. The 15th Court of Appeals was just formed by our Legislature last year. The Legislature set this new Court up in Austin to hear appeals by and against the State, and the constitutionally of State laws. After so many stupid rulings by local ( libtard) unqualified judges, a change had to be made. The appellate judges will not be some family law, bleeding heart, assclowns ( see Dallas 5th Court of Appeals) . No idea what their docket looks like, but the outcome should be timely and reasonable.

Judges should believe and err on the side of the entire construction, and have no party affiliation.
Texas. CDC Judges, County Judges, JP Judges, Municipal Judges, Appellate Judges, and even our Supreme Court Jurists are elected by popular vote. So we get what the masses vote for.
