Even stainless steel will rust. Just takes longer for it to happen, but it does happen. The higher the content of Chromium the longer it takes.
I had the stainless slide on a H & K that would develope one small rust spot. Took about a year of “ special “ attention to rub it away. Had to saddle soap my Cross Breed holster about once a week to keep it plyable.

Isn't so much the temp but temp and equal humidity. If you are younger than 60 you eventually get used to it.
Beats when I was a kid. No AC and just a window fan. Sleeping was the pits. Stock yards came in or GE jet engine testing from DoD plant couple miles away.

ballistol is the answer to your question.
Ballistol is the answer to pretty much everything. I lubed my boat trailer hitch and cleaned a cut on my hand yesterday with it. That old dad with his "Windex fixes everything" in the big fat Greek wedding movie doesn't know shit. Ballistol is where it's at.

Anything will work if you let it sit in said product.

My immediate observation is I suspect none nic industries product was used. You see that rust a lot on ceramic coatings that aren’t good quality. I used to coat among do other things.

Unless where it’s rusted the coating has completely failed then it’s a bad prep job by the coater.

Ceramic coating is not some magical coating. It wears like anything else. Just has different heat ratings and is better about abrasion resistance.

If you must have ceramic coating, and being you used a common color, I suggest coating it with nic industries ceramic coating used for headers. If you can find it. The website is not how I remember it and it’s filled with Jack off bullshit now. Menu sucks. But look. That stuff was heat rated to 1600 degrees and tough.

I don't argue cold and snow with folks up north.
I don't argue heat with them either.

I've been to Scottsdale, AZ and Carlsbad, NM.
They get hotter than hell and cool as Canada.
    Every damn day and night.

Desert weather is impossible to dress for.
