    motorcarman,

Laughing AT you & the rest of the people on the forum, who cannot stand being disagreed with.
(Do you "click on" your "ignored list", so that you can thereafter make comments that make you look like a jackass??)

I could care less whether you like my opinions or not.
(Posted in case you decide to look at your "ignored list" again.)
I have never "ignored" anyone on this site for disagreeing with me or anyone else.

Recently, "one of our number" sent me a PM that said that, "I never read the !@#$ that you write because I have you on the list of ignored AHs". Then he actually directly quoted my comment, so he undoubtedly must read at least some of my (alleged) !@#$. = That PM, I actually laughed at.

    yours, satx

Well I couldn't stand it. I just got an email message on Sept 25th from AIM Surplus that they 'culled' a bunch of 'Grade X' model 81s and offered them for $169 ea.

I ordered 2 and they are supposed to be shipped soon.

I'll see how different they are from the Grade C I got from DK.

I really liked the DK ones!!

    In the woods...
Just got the X grade 81 from Aim. $183 delivered. It looks ALMOST as good on the outside as the hand select Grade 1 got from Classic. The internals on the Grade X are pristine, while the blueing IS a bit thiner overall.

I'll post photos when I can.

Got out another oldie that I had not shot in I fear over a decade and so almost new to me. It was as nice as I remembered BUT need to replace the striker spring and recoil spring. Replacements and a spare set ordered. I had one light strike and two FTEs out of 50 rounds down range. The new springs should fix both those issues.

I had forgotten just how smooth the trigger is on this little gem.

Got the other 2 Berettas (X Grade) from AIM surplus and they are GOOD. A little pitting and thin bluing on the steel upper but a little #0000 steel wool and some oil helped a bunch.

The good thing about getting many is that you can pick the best parts from a pile and get the one(s) you want.

The bottom 2 are DK and the top 2 are AIM surplus.

    All operate normally.

I finally put some talon grip tapes on my beretta. The grips were really slick for my liking. I just put the tape on the front and rear of the frame and put the ends under the grips. I worked out good for me and not slippery any more.

Waiting for an update on the Zasatava...
Sorry I did not pay attention to this thread for a while.
I have been busy with the model 81 Berettas and bought a few other firearms that I kinda forgot about the Zastava. I did find it in a box it was shipped in so I will try to remember to load it up and try it.
