Just saw an old documentary about malpractices of walmart. Its just sooo disgusting on how operate. Their "low cost" savings literally comes from sweat and tears of workers. A perfect example of modern day slavery. Just a few points that made me sick to my stomach
    • Anti Union
    • Minimum wage with no benifits (they claim since govt provides medicaid and food stamps, walmart employees do not deserve any benifits from the company) They have a dept which helps employees apply for govt benifits.
    • Employees are literally threatened with a smile to be fired about any protest
    • Cutting out all the overtime. BTW there is no such thing as overtime
    • Top Tier executives highly indiscriminate women & blacks
    • They put literally 100's of family owned business stores out of businesses over night
    • Walmart parking lots are hotspots, in 2007 about 2500+ robberies, murders, rapes in walmart parking lots
    Here's the most interesting part
    • They pay 18 cents per hours to chinese slaves (oops employees) in their factories. Out of which they also cut mandatory dorm rent plus electricity & water rent. Their toy manufacturing factory which looked more like a correctional facility
    • Clothes are manufactured in Bangladesh where 100% women employees are hired and paid $3 a day for 12-15 hours of work.
    • Here in US lots of stores have EPA and some other environmental violations regularly
    • Have settled 100's of million of dollars in out of court for law suits.
And ofcourse they are ANTI GUN.

I, too, hate Walmart, but how much of that is really true?
Anti-union? Good on them. Tx is a right to work state.
Anti-gun? Not likely, they have some smoking prices on ammo.

The other gripes are suspect because it would be a golden egg laying goose for a pack of rabid attorneys.

Wally world started out as a good thing but when they got to big for sam walton to keep an eye on everything greed took over and wrecked up the place. I am not a fan of walmart and really haven't been in one for more than 5 minutes in several years.

3 of the 5 Wal-Marts within 15mi of me sell guns. All of them sell ammo and other firearm-related accessories. Yep, they're anti-gun!!!

I have talked to some who worked at or had friends who worked at Walmart who said that almost none of the employees were full time. But most were also college students so they were looking for a part time job anyways.

One of the local walmarts hires police officers to hang out by the doors. While I was working my shift, I spoke with two female employees, both with 25+ years, full time, and upper management. Yep...they hate women.

As a former walmart employee I can agree that this is true

    Anti Union
Minimum wage with no benifits (they claim since govt provides medicaid and food stamps, walmart employees do not deserve any benifits from the company) They have a dept which helps employees apply for govt benifits.
Employees are literally threatened with a smile to be fired about any protest
    Cutting out all the overtime

However have no insight on any of the other stuff, walmart was a crappy place to work plain and simple but I definitely still shop there and as far as anti-gun might be a top tier belief but doesn't seem to trickle down to store level. If you don't want to shop there that is definitely your right just adding my $0.02

Back in early 2000 I used to visit Bangladesh a lot (work related) and yes I have personally seen a lot of those factories. Levi's, harrods, Tommy, you name it they are making it. At that time it seemed amazing, never realizing their actual working conditions.

Oh god. It's on youtube!!! It must be true!!!!

Walmart is one of the largest AMERICAN company emplorers. Unions are socialist. If the workers do not like it there, they can find work elsewhere. It's not walmarts job to make them happy. Thats their job. Walmart rose to the top because they could. If they closed yesterday, the masses would simply grow another store chain.

Antigun? I buy all my ammo there and three rifles so far.

Most of your post is BULLSHIT. With a socialist twang. Are you mad they make billions and you don't? Be honest here. What would you do with Walmart if you owned it? Would it still remain the most ruthless company in America? Sell everything cheaper then most others. Money talks, bullshit walks.

And to tell the truth...if an American company wants to use slave labor. So that my cost are kept down....THEY CAN GO FOR IT.
