YouTube took the video offline, but from the comments...

I see at least 5 total armed defenders at the end, approaching the criminal, all with guns at the ready. First shot is at :10 seconds, second shot at :11 seconds and third from armed church-member is at :12 seconds!!! That is a 2 second response time.... well trained and well done. Too bad others had to get shot, but I'm sure there would have been many more at a rate of 1 per second.

I think it is from growing up in what should be a safe place. It just doesn't feel right. In these small Texas towns you think you know everybody. I am certainly reconsidering.

I can understand, but after Sutherland Springs I always carry at church.

I always carry on my person. I don;t think it is OK to get shot or let others get shot anywhere.

That was my take -

First guy is dead because he was slow to draw.
Second guy was dead because he was too slow to do anything.
Security guard was slow too, but had distance and made his one shot count.

Yep, there are plenty of better ones. Like having a chance at stopping an attacker before they murder your family in front of you.

Problem in my church is that I've seen some of the members shoot. I'm pretty sure I'd be shot in cross fire

These days, all my pistol practice is from a draw and always either from under a shirttail or jacket. There is a technique to drawing from under a shirt or jacket. Both in ensuring you get a grip on the butt and not on shirttail and also in clearing the pistol cleanly.

Given how crowded the place was, the best thing the guard probably could have done was to take the time necessary to aim properly and take a single shot.

Yep, he had a clear view, a clean shot (no body behind shooter) and the shooter was not looking at him. Everything was on his side, unlike the first guy.
