    Does it bother anyone else how quickly and how much Jack Wilson has talked to the media? I thought rule #1 after being involved in a shooting was avoid public discussion, followed by talk through your lawyer.

    Because of his position in the community and the circumstances of the shooting, he’s probably in a good position to talk about it.

    Personally, I’d let my attorney do the talking.

    1- With people being crucified in the media over hunting or clearing out varmints and having video or photos in social media, I don't think it's too far-fetched to expect bad things happening to someone in this position, even if it is a good shoot.

    2 - Even as we applaud his actions there are others who would use him as fuel for their opposition. Publicity can be a two edged sword.

    Considering the circumstances of this case, he would really have to say the wrong things to get himself in trouble.

    Exactly, the video provides enough evidence supporting his actions that most anything he says after-the-fact that collaborates what is shown on it won't harm his case...
