I read there is wiggle room in the interpretation of the law since it's not directly illegal nor legal.

Well why don't you be a test case and let us know how it works out? You have to do it with a police cruiser though, just to be sure. :D

Lane splitting is BS. Get in line like the rest of us.

I've done it for years and years in California. It's not only quicker for me but I also ride a Harley which is air cooled and sitting in Austin traffic with 100+ weather sucks for me and my bike. I sit in line like everyone else as is.

Well I can't help that you bought an air cooled bike.

And why is your time more valuable than mine just because you ride a bike?

And stupid. I've been to CA enough to see the inherent dangers in that. Are there any other states that allow it?

I ride and I agree with this.

Lane splitting is stupid and dangerous. It speeds up nothing except for the guy on the bike, until he finds himself under an axle.

My bike is also aircooled. Kill it if you need to. Or get a water cooled bike and enjoy the radiator heat blowing across your legs from the fan.

Lane splitting = not legal & not smart in Texas.

In CA, people are used to it. In Texas, people get road rage over it. That is a can of worms you don't open on 2 wheels. Get water cooled or deal with the heat. Motorcycles are a choice/luxury. Either accept the heat or sit in a cage with A/C. Respectfully of course. Lol
