Yep. Roe v Wade protected no Constitutional right. It postulated the existence of a right and proceeded to create a protection for it, which is an inappropriate role for the Supreme Court.

Trump needs to not harp on abortion. That's playing to the left's strategy - that't why they're making such an effort to bring it up again and again and again. He needs to highlight the damage the Biden/Harris administration has done to this country's economy and how much worse off we all are for it. Otherwise he's only playing to those of us who were already going to vote for him.

He needs to not engage on it. He's already said it's an issue for each state to decide, and that he won't be signing any legislation about it. He needs to redirect to how peace treaties were signed in the middle east under his administration but rape, murder and war are the norm under the administration she wants to continue. He needs to harp on the fact that groceries are twice as expensive and gas is three times as expensive. Abortion is nothing but a trap the left trots out because our side can't resist showing our opposition to killing babies, and they know how to twist that into some "Handmaid's Tale" oppression porn to regurgitate to the uneducated. He needs to sidestep and keep hitting her with her record.

Agree again...to a point. If we're talking interviews, rallies, speeches, etc., absolutely. But if it's a specific question in a debate I don't believe he can or should completely sidestep it. To me, that displays the same weakness and obfuscation that we see constantly in the dems.

He can segue immediately to other issues; in the Biden/Trump CNN debate the timing allowances were 2-minute answers and 1-minute rebuttals. But I don't think he should deflect. Were I in the Donald's shoes, and using the idea from @kbaxter60, it might be something like:

"If Ms. Harris had any actual experience running the Executive branch of this country--or any other executive role--she would understand that this is a matter for the Judicial branch. That's why I've already made clear that I will sign no new legislation about it...despite what she says in her TV commercials. That's why the Constitution of the United States of America gives us a structure in the federal government for checks and balances. Kamala really should read our Constitution and Amendments. I happen to have a pocket-sized copy that I carry with me. Here it is. I'll leave this with Kamala so she can do a little studying.

"Directly under the purview of the Executive branch, however, are matters like securing our nation's borders. What has this administration's "Border Czar" done about handling the national crisis for which she was given direct responsibility? Let's compare the security of the border the last three and a half years to the four years under my administration...."
