For any of you that are going to this and have an AR spare parts bin, I'm looking for a black 6-position butt stock for a commercial tube. I'll trade a box of 5.56 Federal FMJ Tracer 64 Grain 20 Round and a larue hand stop with two rail clips for one at the meetup.

While we have the wind in our sails, lets keep this ship moving. Since last range day was such a success, a few of us have continued meeting and shooting. It's been a lot of fun watching this group grow and meeting everyone. So it's time to do another official range day (complete with its own thread and hype campaign). So let's have some thoughts on dates and venue. My personal preference is the 23rd or 30th. It would be nice not to schedule on same weekend as Gatesville crew (the 16th), since I know G69 is going there for sure(and I haven't completely ruled it out going to Gatesville either if anyone local is up for a roadtrip, let me know). So... With all of that said... Let's discuss our options.

I'd like to see us have a few more controlled events/contests just to spice things up. I think it will be easier this time around since we know each other a little better. Also, I'd like to use this thread to make suggestions in terms of what other shooters might want to shoot. I for one, am dying to shoot more 1911s and I'd like to try out some pocket pistols anyone might have.
