Lol! When did my schedule become The One? Jk, I wouldn't mind planning, but I'd like a little feedback. I've been out of the civilian shooting loop for a while. Not sure which are the best ranges for what. Just to jump out and say it: I absolutely hate bench rifle shooting, but I'm not opposed to doing it lol.

My impression (from the posts above) was people were going to come to meet up with you to shoot (could be wrong).
If this is the case, the schedule is yours to make.

There's always something planned. It's just figuring out which plans actually come to fruition that's the hard part.

Hicksville, for example, will happen. 20,000 posts can't be wrong.

A local get-together? Those tend to be a little more iffy.

There have already been a couple of North Houston-ish get-togethers this year. If things go right, there will be a nice one in the middle of summer when it's sweltering hot.

As for the one being discussed in this thread, I'm anxiously waiting and watching.

I've only been to Shiloh in NW Houston, which I like, but I'm flexible on location.

Shiloh is has some of the best employees but shooting rifle there is extremely loud and limiting. Indoor range I like Spring Guns & Ammo. Outdoors I was impressed with Hot Wells. It met my needs/wants. Can't stand the employees and rules of Carter's Country.

I would think outdoors would be a better idea. I personally would not go to an event at Spring Guns & Ammo but would not dissuade others from going.
