That's why I was suprised. I'm used to seeing them for about 900 cheap. I dunno...I didn't catch the brand of it so I don't know what the issue was. I can stop by on saturday and see if they still have it. If so, I'll let y'all know at the range so y'all can jump on it.

There are 3 or 4 gun store's in the killeen area, cant remember the names. but you can also try Academy and a pawn shop on 195/190, I think thats where it is. No idea whats a little further north, Waco, gateville and temple.

Academy in Killeen has a nice selection of ammo. Walmart is bleh,Guns Galore is great on their selection of guns but be prepared to pay out yer ass for em, Action Pawn at the corner of 190/195 has a big selection of used guns, their ammo stock is ok.

Oh yea, I forgot about Action Pawn. They've been around for about 30 years, so they're doin something right. They have a great selection of guns as well as gun accessories.

Store is only a few years old now though, rebuilt everything since it burned.

Is that what happened? I left for the military, was gone a few years, and then come back and saw it was all new inside. I figured they just saved up and did that to open things up and give it a better look. Dang! lol

I woke up and thought it was Saturday. Only got a few hours of work today and wish I could go now and get back early. I need to reload a few hundred more 9mm, pick up a bunch of .223, 38 special, 357, and .22. Need to reload some more for my .243(which takes forever). Plus a couple of army buddies I haven't sen in several years are coming in this afternoon and we plan on shooting so I gotta have some extra ammo stocked up for that, then get all the guns packed up and ready to load up and roll out in the morning.

I kinda feel like I'm forgetting something.

Yeah the whole thing is new, i think they made the parking lot bigger too. I think they just tore. Down the old building and started from scratch. I wouldnt be surprised if they torched them selves. I went in shortly after reopening and it was complely full in there.
