I'd have to say whichever one functions better as they are both none to pretty to me. Not saying all of mine are nice to look at but I do like pistols on which I can depend over those that look nice.Which do you think will get more compliments?

It's a Commander size, and it conceals well enough for me.I wish I could carry a full size 1911. But I need 100% concealment so it's a Kimber Micro 9 for me.
I can't speak for the Walther, but I'm sure it works just fine since those whom I know that own them have said they like it.I'd have to say whichever one functions better as they are both none to pretty to me. I get 100% concealment with a 1911 CCO or 1911 compact.I wish I could carry a full size 1911. But I need 100% concealment so it's a Kimber Micro 9 for me.

Just so you know, I was not implying they don't function well, just I am more likely to pick my pistols 9 especially carry pistols) based on how well they function as opposed to looks..I can't speak for the Walther, but I'm sure it works just fine since those whom I know that own them have said they like it.
As far as the S&W 1911 PC goes, I get compliments often. Although it is considered a production model, it is customized in S&W's Performance Center and tested before being sold. But, to each his own.

I do too... but all the ones I want- my money is going to other gun disciplines
Walther pistols point very well for me.....I like the CCP.Try a Walther. The PPQ is available in .45.
I keep coming back to a Rock Island commander and having it worked over by Hayes Custom guns. The whole package would be a little over $1000 and from all I hear would run. Unfortunately RI doesn’t make a lightweight commander. If they did I’d probably have pulled the trigger on one already.
Yeah, those are pretty sweet. But it’s still a steel frame and weighs 2 pounds empty. When you add ten rounds of .45 you have an obese midget. A really cool obese midget.
I was looking at their single stack 9mm models. Specifically this one: https://armscor.com/firearms/ria/tac-series/tac-ultra-cs-9mm
I've got the full size version of that. If ya ever want to come out to Terrell and shoot it let me know.
I still like my Sig P320 that I carried for awhile, the function was one of the reasons I started carrying that 1911, but I also like the looks.Just so you know, I was not implying they don't function well, just I am more likely to pick my pistols 9 especially carry pistols) based on how well they function as opposed to looks..
