    Thanks!
And look at all those "M"s -
I need to find me an icon thingy...

    I found my Avatar!

That's a pic of me shooting an AR for the very first time! Loved it! Shot from the deck out here at TenOaks. It's a DPMS Panther, 5.56; he camo'ed it up years ago, and it'll be my go-to if/when the zombies attack. :D

    LOL!!!

I wouldn't run from him, I'd just wind up dying tired.

What rifle is that? It doesn't look like a Win 94 to me cuz of the foregrip/barrel band. But I'm not very familiar with those anyway, since they've always kicked me in the chops pretty badly. Same with Savage 99.

    It's the Henry, Big Boy, Gov't 45-70.

I got my little Henry lever action (silver, .22, octagon barrel) first last summer, and I'll be danged if a Big Boy didn't follow her home. Dontcha love it when that happens! :)

For grins - I put the two brass next to each other -
from his 45-70 and my 22lr. What a difference!!

Get you some 405gr LFP's.....over 13 to 13.5 gr of Unique or Universal!

Some real 45/70 FUN...with low recoil...about ...??? Thirty cents a pop...vs the factory fodder of $4/@!! (much easier on the shoulder)

The Henry 45-70 has been fun to shoot but hard on the pocket. :)
