That's a pic of me shooting an AR for the very first time! Loved it! Shot from the deck out here at TenOaks. It's a DPMS Panther, 5.56; he camo'ed it up years ago, and it'll be my go-to if/when the zombies attack.

It's the Henry, Big Boy, Gov't 45-70.
I got my little Henry lever action (silver, .22, octagon barrel) first last summer, and I'll be danged if a Big Boy didn't follow her home. Dontcha love it when that happens!
For grins - I put the two brass next to each other -
from his 45-70 and my 22lr. What a difference!!

Some real 45/70 FUN...with low recoil...about ...??? Thirty cents a pop...vs the factory fodder of $4/@!! (much easier on the shoulder)
