Well..that's what we call our place anyway, for the 10 giant oaks near the house.

I go by MG, I'm from the northern rocky mountains and I came down to Katy in late '21 to winter over with a great guy - and last spring I sold my mountain and he sold his house and we bought a place together out in the middle of nowhere East Texas and we love it!. The first thing we did was put in a range, second thing was a pit. I'm getting real used to BBQ... and being able to shoot off the back deck.

Looking forward to being here; I'm an old woman who speaks her mind and I dont do any PC/Woke crappola. Just sayin.

It is, very. I'm used to remote; my guy is loving it - he retired last Aug after 40yrs working in the city. Whole different life; relaxin, shootin, drinkin, BBQin... and NO SNOW! Well, so far not yet & I dont think much will come when it does - not like on the mountain, anyway.
