Looks like a late 2000s Impala (maybe a SS with the exhaust). It however has a Holden and Cadillac V badge stuck on.

Yep, it's a Chevy Caprice, which is a left hand drive version of the Holden Caprice. Imported in limited numbers, didn't sell worth a crap. Most owners were municipalities who tried them out as cop cars.

Sounds like it's a Holden, re-badged as a Chevy for the US market.

The only thing wrong with Holdens was the cheap electricals. Of course given the extent of the electrical systems in modern cars...

Exactly like the Monaro, I mean GTO. I owned one of those at one point.

A buddy of mine put the Monaro front bumper cover and badging on his, as did quite a few other people. The "Pontiac" look may have kinda matched the brand styling of the day, but the original Holden styling looked better.
