The RNC did the people of Pennsylvania no favors by running a New York transplant and TV celebrity against this guy. Someone from PA with actual experience and name recognition for representing people there would have mopped the floor with him. The fact that Dr Oz almost won shows that a better candidate would have taken the office.

HIs wife went on 'vacation' with the kids. Reasonable. Yes, he is just a place-holder, like Brandon. Oz isn't a winner but R didn't put up anybody else with any name recognition. And Mitch wouldn't support Oz. Not that Mitch is worth anything but he does control the R $.
