Elon Musk is seeking to terminate his $44 billion agreement to buyTwitter Inc., TWTR -5.10%▼ saying that the company hasn’t provided the necessary data and information he needs to assess the prevalence of fake or spam accounts, according to a regulatory filing Friday.

Bret Taylor, chairman of Twitter’s board of directors, tweeted Friday afternoon that the board plans to pursue legal action to enforce the deal at the price and terms originally agreed upon.

Twitter lied to their investors and to Musk about the amount of accounts that were real humans. If they really want to get into the weeds on this he might acquire twitter for less than 10 billion dollars. Because their stock price is going to tank hard when this comes out in court.
