My son's neighbor has a 3yr old Chevy Volt.....The battery went south...

$30,000 for a battery!

Chevy says he is on the hook for it.....

I think? I can get an 800HP Big Block Chevy for $10,000.....

Electric vehicles work fine on closed circuits with continuous supplies of electricity.

Those with built-in batteries don’t work “fine” if trips of any length are required.

Even worse if the heater or A/C is needed.

It’s not an issue that one person had. It’s a limitation with lithium ion batteries.

Well I guess I will just not worry to much about it. If it was a HUGE problem you would find more info on it. Kind of like the exploding ford Pinto's and Chevy trucks going up in flames when hit on the side.

Why would you find more info on it? The people who are pushing everyone to buy EV’s don’t care if you know. just because we are talking about it today doesn’t mean it’s the first time it’s happened. if you do a google search you’ll see that this isn’t some new thing.
