    Really? I’ve carried on of 2 Glocks daily for 15 years. The original Glock finish is tough as hell. The “stylish” flag, picture and other finishes are garbage and do very little to protect the metal. If you want a cool gun, don’t carry, if you do carry you’ll need to clean every day, hot and sweaty or not.
    I must agree. Thankfully the rust was only surface and scrubbed off with some heat, frog lube and a nylon brush. No rust whatsoever in the barrel or internals.

    Carried my cool guy distressed flag G19 last weekend while in NOLA and again today for a quick jaunt to Costco. Removed from kydex holster, checked for moisture, placed in safe.

    All good, lesson learned, laughed at some good prodding at my deserved expense, maybe helped someone else in the process.
