They should make any sane person nervous. Some of these people they live for a SHTF event. They think about it to the point of that they are obsessed with it. They are not playing with a full deck.

Some years ago, a member on another forum went into detail about how he would resort to cannabilism to survive. Scary.

What i kinda meant was more along the lines of, why do guys feel like it is a good idea to reply with full disclosure and honesty in those threads, and why would someone be going out of their way to collect that information you know?

It may be my imagination, but I've seen some odd posts lately where individuals are asking leading questions and pretending (or maybe not pretending?) to be pretty stupid about guns and such. Makes me think we might be getting visits from some forum trolls that like to make trouble. Resist the temptation to help them cause trouble and hopefully they'll find a new hobby.

People willingly announce what they bought, show photos, and compare wieners regarding our arsenals.

2. Which Curios & Relics Firearms Do You Own (C&R) - A bunch of us listing all of the Surplus Rifles we own for the world to see.

3. What % Of Your Total Rds Of Ammo Are Each Of Your Calibers/Gauges? - Nuff said

IMO, I don't read into them too much as this is a gun forum. If the Feds are coming to take, then they are coming, they know what each of us have. You can be sure that none of my firearms will be at my home if they start going door to door. If they are at your door, it is too late.

I think that it is not the best of times to put anything of value on an open forum. But that is just ME! There are plenty of others that are just looking for something to talk about, or validation of their choices.

OK then. Here is a picture of my early 60's High Standard Double Nine 22 revolver. It's in excellent shape and shoots pretty darn good. I stole it from my son-in-law's gun cabinet but he had it for 25 years and never shot it. So, I told him I would leave it to him in my will. Some of them were made and sold under special brands at Western Auto and Sears, but this one was not.

My other guns are Glocks except for my wife's S&W M&P 22 compact. But she really has taken a liking to my Glock 44 lately too.

Agreed.....except for the Glock part. I've owned three, and they pretty much all look the same.

Only reasons I don't post pics of my guns is that I'm lazy and only own boring guns.....
